The National Infrastructure Commission is looking for a new Chief Executive.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the NIC’s secretariat, providing strategic leadership and direction to a large team comprised of civil servants and private sector secondees.
You must have an in-depth understanding of government and the ability to build and command the trust and confidence of senior partners, officials and ministers, whilst leading a diverse team.
Excellent critical thinking skills are crucial and you should have a consistent record of articulating and delivering a long term, inspirational vision for an organisation.
The successful candidate will be able to run an organisation, managing budgets and finding opportunities for efficiency and change, with the ability to shift resources to meet changing priorities.
As this is a high-profile role, the post-holder will represent the NIC at infrastructure events, including handling media appearances.
Further details are available here and the deadline for applications is Thursday 5 December.
